Sylvotherapy - Forest Bathing

Restore. Reconnect. Renew.

Find Peace, Balance, and Inspiration in Nature.

What is Forest Bathing?

Forest Bathing, or Shinrin-Yoku, is a practice rooted in Japanese wellness traditions and backed by science.

Step away from the noise of daily life and immerse yourself in a transformative two-hour Sylvotherapy (Forest Bathing) experience—a slow, intentional journey through nature designed to nourish your mind, body, and soul.

In this guided session, we will disconnect from our devices and enter a state of presence, using mindfulness and meditation techniques to fully engage with the natural world. You do not need any experience with meditation to join—there is no “right” way to do this. Each person’s journey is unique, and you are invited to move at your own pace, allowing the forest to meet you exactly where you are.

Proven Benefits of Forest Bathing

🌱 Reduce stress & anxiety – Lowers cortisol levels and activates the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation.
🌱 Improve mood & mental clarity – Increases serotonin and dopamine levels, enhancing feelings of joy and focus.
🌱 Boost immune function – Exposure to phytoncides (compounds released by trees) has been shown to strengthen the immune system.
🌱 Lower blood pressure & heart rate – Encourages a natural state of calm and reduces cardiovascular strain.
🌱 Enhance creativity & problem-solving – A break from digital stimulation allows for deeper insights and innovative thinking.
🌱 Increase overall well-being – Cultivates a deep sense of connection, gratitude, and presence.

What to Expect in a Session

🌿 Engaging All Five Senses – Through guided prompts and reflections, you’ll awaken your senses to the sights, sounds, scents, textures, and even the subtle tastes of the forest air.

🌿 Direct Connection with Nature – You will be invited to interact with trees, earth, and natural elements, deepening your sense of grounding and presence.

🌿 Mindfulness & Meditation – We will explore simple but powerful mindfulness exercises that allow you to step out of your thinking mind and into the present moment. Thought journalling will also be an option to incorporate.

🌿 Nature Art Activity – You’ll have the opportunity to create something ephemeral and meaningful using natural materials, fostering a sense of play and creativity.

🌿 A Traditional Tea Ceremony – We will conclude our session with a gentle tea ceremony, a time to integrate our experience and honor the connection we’ve cultivated with nature.
